Biden appoints Nigerian born Funmi Badejo into his cabinet

Joe Biden, the President-elect of the United States of America, has appointed Nigerian-born Funmi Olorunnipa Badejo into his cabinet.

The President-elect made the announcement when he named additional 20 members of the office of the White House counsel.

Mrs Funmi Oorunnipa Badejo is an Okun Yoruba indigene of Kogi State. She is a legal practitioner in the US and she is saddled with the power to investigate, review and erase all unethical policies of Donald Trump’s 4 year reign.

She served as Ethics Counsel in the Ethics Office in the Barack Obama administration. She is working currently for the Democrats on the House Committee with oversight over the government’s Coronavirus response.

Badejo is an alumna of Berkeley Law College in the US.

She, alongside other lawyers of the Office of White House Counsel will be advising the President, the executive office of the president, and the White House staff on legal issues pertaining to the president and the White House.
